Certification & Network
A certificate alone isn't enough. Trust, commitment, values - and a certificate make you Certified!
All our produce is 100% certified by by PGS India. PGS (Participatory Guarantee System) is an internationally applicable quality assurance system based on personal integrity, peer pressure and verifiable trust. The standards are harmonized by National Center of Organic Farming (NCOF), under Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer’s Welfare, India which permits the use of PGS Organic logos after years of verification & Inspection. PGS India, while keeping the spirit of PGS intact, aims to give the entire movement, an institutional structure. This is achieved by networking the groups under common umbrella through various facilitating agencies, Regional Councils and Zonal Councils. National Centre of Organic Farming is the custodian of data, policy definitions and guidelines and undertakes surveillance through field monitoring and product testing for residues. Regional councils and facilitating agencies facilitate the groups in capacity building, training, knowledge/technology dissemination and data uploading on the PGS website. Our trust (Chetna Vikas Swaraj Trust) is a certified Regional Council under the PGS movement and along with capacity building, training and technology dissemination, we CERTIFY Organic produce. Our products undergo very minimal on farm processing and is brought directly to your doorsteps. We have a network of over 200 farmer groups doing organic farming in over 1200 acres of land across India. So the produce you get is coming pretty much directly from the lands that are suitable for its cultivation.
